Cyprus conferences run 25–40% over initial registration count by the week of the event — Limassol MICE draws a heavy walk-up contingent from Nicosia, Tel Aviv, Athens and the Gulf, and a conference that promises online registration up to 48 hours before doors open cannot afford a 7-day print lead time on badges. Models and materials that fit

Default is a 350 gsm silk-laminated paper badge with a slot punch and a clip, €0.55 per unit at 500 — recycled content 30%, FSC mix. Premium tier is a 760-micron rigid PVC with rounded corners and a satin finish, €1.20 at 200 — survives the whole conference plus a take-home trip in a laptop bag. Third tier is a fabric woven badge (damask, 70×110mm) with a heat-cut edge and iron-on or pin backing for VIP and speaker tiers at €3.40 at 50 units.

Prints and branding approaches

Digital CMYK plus white underlay on the PVC version — full-bleed event artwork on the front, sponsor wall on the back is an add-on at €0.18. Variable data (per-attendee name, company, role, QR code) is included from a CSV or registration-platform export — Eventbrite, Cvent, Bizzabo, Hubilo and Tito all drop cleanly into our template. We colour-code the bottom 12mm strip by attendee type: speaker, sponsor, press, delegate, staff — colour-blind-safe palette with a small icon, not just hue.

Bundling and packaging

For multi-day conferences we pre-sort badges by registration wave into perforated numbered sleeves and ship in 100-unit cartons. Standard pack includes the badge, a clear PVC holder with a lanyard slot (€0.30), and a perforated tear-off meal voucher on the back of the paper version. Late arrivals are handled by a express print queue at the on-site registration desk — printer template provided to the client or rented through us at €85 per day.

MOQ is 100 badges; pricing in EUR drops from €1.40 per unit at 100 (paper) to €0.45 at 1,000. PVC tier starts at €2.10 per unit at 100 and falls to €1.05 at 500. Standard lead time is 5 business days from artwork and data sign-off; rush reprint of 50–200 badges is 3 business days. Quotes returned within one Cyprus business day; sample kit (5 mixed SKUs) ships in 24 hours from Limassol, sample cost credited on order confirmation.

Can you import our registration list from Eventbrite or Cvent?

Yes — direct CSV export from Eventbrite, Cvent, Bizzabo, Hubilo and Tito drops into our template without reformatting. We validate email and name length, flag duplicates, and return a draft proof within 24 hours. Last-minute additions via spreadsheet are processed in a 3-hour batch and ship next-day from Limassol.

How do you handle dietary markers and accessibility tags?

Two options: a small colour strip on the bottom edge of the badge (we use a colour-blind-safe palette — red/yellow/blue/green plus an icon for the colour-blind), or a discreet QR code on the back that venue staff scan. The QR approach is GDPR-cleaner because the badge itself only shows first name and role.

What's the difference between paper and PVC for a 2-day conference?

Paper badges survive a 2-day event fine if you laminate the front or use silk lamination — €0.55 per unit at 500. PVC makes sense when delegates keep the badge as a souvenir (typical for industry summits), or when the badge doubles as a building access card — €1.20 per unit at 200.

Can you print sponsor logos on the back of the badge?

Yes — back-side sponsor wall is €0.18 per badge at any run size and supports up to 12 logos in a 3×4 grid. Above 12 we recommend a sponsor-tier ladder (platinum/gold/silver) printed at different sizes — €0.25 per badge setup.

Do you supply the lanyards too?

Yes — polyester lanyards at €0.85 per unit (MOQ 100, 7-day production), or rPET lanyards at €1.10 with a safety breakaway buckle. We dye-sublimation print the lanyard in full-colour and match Pantone where required. Bundled badge + lanyard + holder is €1.65 per kit at 500.

Can you print 30 replacement badges overnight?

Up to 80 badges per night from a 5pm data file, ready for collection at our Limassol base or courier to Limassol/Nicosia venues by 8am. Pricing for the overnight batch is the same as the main run plus a €40 flat rush fee. We do not run a 24/7 desk but we answer messages until 22:00 Cyprus time during MICE season.
