Welcome packs for probation passed (Cyprus)

Why a welcome pack fits a Cyprus probation-passed brief

A Nicosia insurance company celebrating the 90-day probation-passed milestone for each new hire wants a kit that says "you made it, you're now part of the team" — a 4-piece pack (350 ml double-wall vacuum thermal mug with name laser-etched, 320 gsm polar fleece blanket in a kraft sleeve, 100 ml reed diffuser in peony-and-white-tea, and an A5 PU notebook with name blind embossed) in a rigid magnetic-closure kraft box at €54 per set is the right register. For a Limassol shipping house marking the milestone for 6 new seafarers, the same pack at €54 per set with a brass-plaque upgrade at €72 is the more formal alternative.

Models and materials that fit

The default probation-passed welcome pack is the 4-piece edition at €54 per set on 10-unit runs. The premium upgrade is the 4-piece edition with a brass plaque (60×30 mm) carrying the new title and date at €72 per set. The smaller 3-piece edition without the diffuser is €42 per set. All packs ship in rigid magnetic-closure kraft boxes (320×240×90 mm) with custom foam inserts.

Prints and branding approaches

The welcome pack carries the recipient's name and "Probation Passed, [Date]" line as the hero marks — the milestone is the moment. The mug carries the recipient's name laser-etched on the front face; the notebook carries the new title blind embossed. The corporate wordmark lives only on the box belly band. We avoid full-back large-print on the fleece blanket because the milestone gift should remain useful for years.

Bundling and packaging

Each pack ships in a rigid magnetic-closure box with a custom foam insert and a hand-written card from the team lead. For office-based recipients we deliver to the HR reception 24 hours before the milestone date; for remote hires we ship to the home address via ACS Limassol on a 24–48 hour turnaround.

Runs, lead times, and budgets

Probation-passed welcome pack runs land between 10 and 50 units per quarter depending on the company's hiring cadence. Standard production is 7–10 business days; rush runs of 5 business days are possible on the 4-piece line if we have blank stock at the Limassol hub. Ballpark — €42–€72 per pack depending on configuration.

Cyprus context

Cyprus's banking and professional-services sector marks the 90-day probation-passed milestone in a small team lunch with a gift — typically a small ceremony in the partner's office with a hand-written card. Limassol's shipping and tech sector marks the milestone more casually with a "probation passed" Slack post and a desk-side gift drop. The welcome pack is the most substantial probation-passed gift in the matrix.

Frequently asked questions

What welcome pack fits a Cyprus probation-passed milestone?

For a probation-passed milestone the 4-piece pack at €54 per set is the right register — substantial enough to mark the moment and has year-round utility. The 4-piece pack with a brass-plaque upgrade at €72 per set is the more formal alternative for the shipping sector.

Can the pack carry the hire's name and "Probation Passed" mark?

Yes — the recipient's name laser-etched on the mug and the new title blind embossed on the notebook cover are included at €4.20 per set and 2 business days. The "Probation Passed, [Date]" line is printed on a hangtag attached to the fleece blanket at €1.20 per set extra.

Can the pack include a brass-plaque upgrade?

Yes — a brass plaque (60×30 mm) with the new title and a date engraved on the box lid is included at €18 per set extra. The plaque is the formal alternative to the blind emboss on the notebook cover, and it's a popular upgrade for the shipping sector's milestone ceremonies.

Can we ship packs to remote hires across Cyprus?

Yes — we ship individual packs across Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and the Famagusta coast via ACS Limassol on a 24–48 hour turnaround. For international remote hires we ship via DHL at cost plus handling, typically 4–6 days transit to EU destinations.

Can the pack include a hand-written card?

Yes — a folded note card (90×130 mm) with a hand-written message from the team lead is included at €2.40 per unit for calligraphy. Cards are inserted between the mug and the box lid so they don't get damaged in transit.

What's the smallest probation-passed pack run you take on?

10 units per cycle. Below that we offer a "ready-stock" service where 5 pre-built packs live at the Limassol hub for same-week deployment at €60 per pack. The ready-stock route is popular with the Limassol tech sector's rolling-hire pattern.
