Why a structured cap is the right kit for a UAE outdoor workforce
An ADNOC refinery cap has to sit under a hard hat for half the day and still look presentable at a town-hall meeting. The structured six-panel with a curved peak handles both. Two cap constructions that cover most UAE orders
The Bristol 6P is our structured flagship — 100% brushed cotton twill (270 gsm), pre-curved peak, sewn eyelets, brushed-cotton sweatband, Velcro closure. AED 28 at 100 units, AED 22 at 500. The Pacific 6P is the recycled-poly chino alternative — 65% recycled polyester / 35% cotton (240 gsm), moisture-wicking inner sweatband, snapback closure, slightly deeper crown to fit the GCC fit profile. AED 32 at 100, AED 26 at 500. For premium partner gifts, the Crown 5P in washed cotton twill with a leather-look strap delivers at AED 58 at 50 units, MOQ 30.
Embroidery on caps that survive Gulf laundering cycles
Flat embroidery at 8,000–10,000 stitches is the default for corporate logos on the front two panels. 3D puff embroidery (raised foam underlay) is reserved for caps with simple geometric logos — common for the ADCB, FAB and Mashreq branch-rollout packs. We finish every cap with a merrowed edge on the embroidery boundary to prevent the thread lift that ruins a cap after 20 wash cycles. Thread is Madeira Polyneon 40-weight, UV-stable and chlorine-resistant — important for the salt air at the Abu Dhabi corniche and the chlorine of a hotel-pool front-of-house uniform.
Packing for shipping and field conditions
Bulk orders for ADNOC and ENBD ship in 100-piece polybags inside a corrugated outer, sized to fit standard UAE truck pallets. For retail-ready distribution to GITEX exhibitors, we offer individually boxed units (white tuck-end with a printed belly band) at AED 4.50 per box premium. Standard MOQ is 50 units for the Bristol and Pacific, 30 for the Crown premium. What head circumference does the Bristol 6P fit?
Adjustable. The Velcro closure delivers 56–62 cm with the snapback variant delivering 55–60 cm. The Crown 5P premium has a leather-look strap with a metal buckle — same range. A GCC adult profile typically fits 57–59 cm.
Can the cap be embroidered on the back as well as the front?
Yes. The standard is front centre (10 × 6 cm), back strap (8 × 1 cm), and side panels (6 × 4 cm) at an additional AED 1.20 per location. We do four-position embroidery for the Aldar Yas sales-agent programme and the ENBD marathon team.
How does the Pacific recycled-poly handle ADNOC field-crew sweat and laundering?
Very well. The moisture-wicking sweatband absorbs 3× its weight in sweat, and the recycled-poly outer dries in 40 minutes at ambient — half the time of a pure-cotton cap. Recommended wash cycle is 40°, no bleach, line dry.
Is there a UAE-flag colour combination that's pre-stocked?
Yes. Red, green, white and black panel combinations are pre-cut and ship in 5 working days with no setup fee. We also keep the ADNOC green, ENBD red and the Aldar amber in stock at our Dubai warehouse.
What about children/youth sizing for Aldar or Emaar community events?
The Bristol 6P comes in a youth size (52–56 cm) at the same unit price, MOQ 50. We also do the matching Bermuda backpack in youth sizing for community-day giveaways.
Are these caps compliant with UAE heat-stress PPE guidance?
The cap itself is not classified as PPE. For site work that requires EN 397 or ANSI Z89.1 hard hats, the cap goes underneath and is removed indoors. For site visits in non-PPE zones (ADNOC HQ, customer-facing roles), the cap is worn as a uniform item, not safety equipment.
