Why a front-of-house polo needs different fabric than a sales-floor polo
An Emirates NBD branch officer meets customers eight hours a day in air-conditioned 22°C. A polo in 100% cotton is comfortable there but creases visibly under the camera at the customer-counter check-in. The right answer is a 95% cotton / 5% elastane piqué at 200 gsm — holds the embroidered logo, recovers from the seat, and stays crisp. An ADNOC field-shirt polo at a refinery site wears differently — pure cotton with a longer tail and a chest pocket for a clip-on radio, in a high-vis colour way. The Halton Piqué is the corporate flagship — 100% ring-spun cotton piqué, 200 gsm, three-button placket, taped neck, side vents. AED 24 at 100 units, AED 19 at 500. The Halton Stretch adds 5% elastane for the front-of-house roles that sit, stand and walk all day — same construction, AED 31 at 100, AED 25 at 500. The Halton HiVis is the field polo — 100% cotton piqué, 220 gsm, fluorescent yellow or orange with retroreflective tape on the shoulders, chest pocket. AED 42 at 100, AED 35 at 500.
Embroidery that holds the corporate identity at branch scale
Three-position embroidery is standard on UAE corporate programmes: left chest (8 × 6 cm) for the corporate logo, right chest (8 × 3 cm) for the name badge, and back yoke (10 × 2 cm) for the team or site identifier. We use Madeira Polyneon 40-weight thread, Pantone-matched within Delta-E 2.5. For the Emaar and Aldar co-branded programmes, we run a two-logo split — corporate on the left chest, project on the right sleeve. Stitch count is held at 8,000–12,000 per logo for a 3D-feel embroidery that doesn't pucker the piqué.
Packing for site-rollout logistics
ADNOC site-rollout polos ship in 25-piece polybags with a manifest listing each recipient's name, size and site. Branch polish on the unit is folded into a 5-ply bio cell with the size and store code on the cell. For retail-ready distribution to the Address or Marriott chain uniforms, we offer an individually polybagged unit with a printed size sticker at AED 1.80 per bag premium.

Standard MOQ is 50 units for the Halton Piqué and Halton Stretch, 30 for the Halton HiVis. Embroidery-decorated orders under 250 pieces ship in 10 working days; 250–1,000 in 12 days; runs above 1,000 with multi-position embroidery in 14 days. 200 gsm minimum, ring-spun piqué. Below 180 gsm the embroidery stitches sink into the piqué texture and the logo edge fuzzes after 20 wash cycles. The Halton Piqué at 200 gsm holds the 8,000-stitch corporate logo flat past 60 wash cycles at 40°C.
Can the polo be ordered with name and store code on every unit?
Yes. We run a per-shirt data set with name, store code and ID. Embroidery of the name is on the right chest at AED 1.80 per unit additional setup; the store code is woven into the hem label at the same rate. Lead time is 14 working days for runs above 500 pieces.
Is the Halton HiVis compliant with ADNOC site safety requirements?
Yes. The fluorescent fabric is EN ISO 20471 class 2 compliant, and the retroreflective tape is 3M Scotchlite 8910. We can supply a test certificate for each production batch on request, common for the Ruwais and Bab site onboarding kits.
Does the elastane in the Halton Stretch break down with the wash cycles at a hotel uniform programme?
No. The 5% elastane is INVISTA Lycra, which holds recovery past 50 industrial wash cycles at 60°C. The Address Beach Resort pool uniforms is verified for 18 months of daily laundering without visible bagging at the seat or elbow.
Can the polo be shipped pre-folded with a size sticker for the Dubai Mall retail-ready bundle?
Yes. We offer a folded-pin-to-strip variant for retail-ready distribution at AED 1.80 per bag premium. The bag is a gusseted polybag with a printed size sticker and a 50 × 30 mm patch window for the corporate swing tag.
Is the polo OEKO-TEX certified for the hospitality use case?
Yes. Standard OEKO-TEX 100 class II certification ships with every Halton order. For the Jumeirah and Marriott programmes that require direct-skin contact certification, the Halton Stretch can be ordered with class I certification at no extra cost.
