About Corp-Merch UAE
The Emirates desk of a corporate merchandise group built for the way UAE buyers actually procure: AED invoicing with 5% VAT, Friday-Saturday operational windows, DIFC / DMCC / ADGM-friendly documentation, and partner production concentrated in Asia, Türkiye and Portugal for fast GCC re-export.
Who we are in the Emirates
Corp-Merch UAE is the Gulf desk of an international corporate-merchandise group with a decade of branded-goods production behind it. The UAE operation is run from Dubai with account managers, brand reviewers and a customs desk that work Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4) — the same time zone as Riyadh, Muscat and Manama, which matters when a single order has to land in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah on the same morning.
We launched the UAE desk because corporate buyers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi kept running into the same procurement problem: they needed a single supplier who could invoice in dirhams with 5% VAT, clear goods through Jebel Ali or the free-zone gates, decorate locally or regionally, and document everything for ESG and UAE-Net-Zero-2050 reporting. That combination — regional decoration partners, AED invoicing, GCC customs competence — is what the UAE desk is built around.
Today we serve banks and DIFC-licensed financial groups, government entities and semi-government holdings, ADNOC and the wider energy sector, real-estate developers along Sheikh Zayed Road and on Reem Island, hospitality groups operating in Dubai Marina, on the Palm and around Saadiyat, family offices, sovereign-linked companies, and the trade-show circuit that runs through Dubai World Trade Centre, ADNEC and Expo City Dubai. We document the UAE desk the same way we document any other responsible supplier programme: written specs, signed proofs, batch QC at AQL 2.5, and a TRN-stamped tax invoice on every shipment.
What the UAE desk produces and ships
Custom apparel, drinkware, bags, tech accessories, packaging and fully-assembled welcome kits — the everyday merch family that HR, marketing, brand and procurement teams across the Emirates reach for. Programmes range from a 20-piece executive welcome kit for a new DIFC office to 50,000-piece dealer-apparel drops coordinated out of Jebel Ali. Every project runs under the same operating standards: written specs, signed proofs, batch-level traceability, AQL 2.5 inspection, and a UAE-compliant delivery note.
Decoration partners are concentrated in three clusters: the Levant and Türkiye (embroidery and silk-screen for short transit times), South Asia (sublimation, DTG, DTF and high-volume cotton pieces), and Portugal / eastern Europe (premium drinkware, leather goods and FSC-certified packaging for ESG-conscious buyers). That spread keeps Gulf transit at 5-12 days for most SKUs and gives the desk genuine redundancy if one corridor slows.
Why UAE buyers work with us
The Emirates is one of the most operationally demanding B2B merch markets in the world, and that suits the way we operate. The customs regime (GCC unified customs tariff, the UAE's own 5% VAT, free-zone-vs-onshore flows at JAFZA / DAFZA / DMCC / SAIF), the regulatory regime (ESI compliance for the financial free zones, ICV certification for ADNOC suppliers, TAQEEM conformity for gifts distributed at regulated events) and the geography — a coastal city-state with a desert interior, mountain wadis on the Hajar range, and resort islands offshore — all reward suppliers who understand local detail. The UAE desk has spent years inside that detail, and keeps an in-house AED billing desk and a permanent VAT / TRN validator on the project flow.
UAE buyers tend to buy at three speeds: a quick turnover-programme for a bank branch (5-7 days), a project-driven award (Hail and Ghantoot racing), and a sovereign-grade multi-stakeholder programme (year-long onboarding for ADNOC and DEWA). The desk runs all three speeds. We have a standing inventory of blanks at our Dubai free-zone partner for next-day embroidery and silk-screen on selected SKUs, a documented rush capacity at our Türkiye corridor for 5–7 day replacement orders, and a project-management backbone that runs joint HR offshore and a permanent VAT / TRN validator on the project flow.

How the UAE desk is staffed
The Emirates operation is led by a country director who has spent more than fifteen years on the Gulf side of branded-merch procurement, with prior roles inside hospitality procurement at a Dubai hotel group and inside the marketing-services supply chain of a regional bank. The account team is bilingual English / Arabic, with Russian-speakers on the bench for CIS parent companies that operate UAE subsidiaries (a non-trivial share of our DIFC book). Day-to-day work happens in Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4), Friday-Saturday weekend; we hold a documented two-hour service window on Sundays to absorb the overnight hand-off from European colleagues and the morning hand-off from US clients.
The production function is held by partner factories we have worked with for five or more years on average. Audit data is shared on request: ISO 9001 and 14001 certificates, OEKO-TEX 100 and GOTS for textiles, FSC chain-of-custody for paper and wood, GRS for recycled inputs, BSCI and Sedex social-audit statements.
Compliance posture for the UAE
We treat the UAE's regulatory environment as the table-stakes. Every shipment leaves a TRN-stamped tax invoice compliant with the Federal Tax Authority's 5% VAT regime (introduced 1 January 2018). Goods delivered into the UAE mainland clear through Jebel Ali or the inland customs desks under standard HS classification. Goods delivered into JAFZA, DAFZA, DMCC, SAIF Zone or RAK FTZ follow the free-zone flow that exempts intra-FTA-licensed buyers from VAT on the qualifying goods, with a documented audit trail. For clients in DIFC and ADGM we work the regulated-financial-free-zone exemption with VAT-roll support, and we issue ESI-aligned filings for procurement.
Our UAE compliance pack includes the operating entity's trade licence, the VAT registration certificate (TRN), the ICC and ESR reports where applicable, the ICV certificate for energy-sector clients, the TAQEEM conformity statement for regulated events, the source UAE-side ESG policy covering labour conditions at partner factories, and the customs documentation for non-resident buyers exporting from the UAE back to the Gulf or further afield. Buyers that move through Dubai Chamber, Abu Dhabi Chamber or Sharjah Chamber procurement frameworks will recognise the document set.
Frequently asked questions
Who runs Corp-Merch UAE?
Corp-Merch UAE is the Emirates desk of an international corporate-merch group with 10+ years of branded-goods production experience across the Gulf, Europe, Asia and the Americas. Our UAE operation is led by a Dubai-based country director and runs from Dubai inside the Gulf Standard Time zone.
Where is the UAE desk based?
Our Dubai commercial office sits in a mainland free-zone-adjacent location for fast cross-emirate delivery. Production partners operate in Türkiye, South Asia and Europe for redundancy and short Gulf transit times.
Do you handle UAE customs paperwork?
Yes. Mainland deliveries clear through Jebel Ali or inland customs; free-zone deliveries (JAFZA, DAFZA, DMCC, SAIF, RAK FTZ, twofour54, Shams, Creative City Fujairah) follow the free-zone flow that exempts qualifying intra-FTA buyers from VAT. We issue the TRN-stamped tax invoice, the delivery note and any FTA-mandated reporting.
What is the standard minimum order?
Standard minimums start at 50 pieces for printed apparel, 30 pieces for premium items and 20 sets for welcome packs. Sample runs of 10 units are accepted for proof-of-concept work and strike-off approval.
Do you support GCC and global invoicing?
Yes — invoices are issued in AED to a UAE TRN, in USD for cross-border GCC delivery, in EUR for European clients, or in GBP for the UK. VAT treatment depends on the buyer entity and the ship-to address.
Which carriers do you ship with?
Aramex, Emirates Post, DHL Express, FedEx and a Saudi/Doha regional carrier for cross-GCC work. The carrier is selected per destination, weight, signature requirement and customs-clearance scope.
